What is GA4? What is GTM?

GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
is Google’s current analytics platform. It tracks events (not just pageviews), works across devices, and gives you flexible reports on behaviour, conversions and revenue.
GTM (Google Tag Manager)
is the control centre for your tracking. Instead of hard-coding scripts, GTM lets you add, test and manage pixels (GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Hotjar, etc.) without breaking your site.
Together:
GTM deploys the tags; GA4 stores and reports the data. Clean setup = clean decisions.

Together we’ll:

  • Link Google Ads, set up key reports, and explore attribution
  • Review how to maintain and troubleshoot tracking long-term
Footnote: Important Tracking Note
Some platforms - especially in healthcare, trades, or restaurant bookings - don’t yet offer direct GA4 or GTM integration.
In these cases, we’ll track alternate actions such as booking link clicks, enquiry buttons, or confirmation pages instead.
